AutoCAD Sales: -At house, I have a six year old HP house pc that runs Autocad fine.
-I am organizing on buying a heavily upgraded Dell Vostro 1720, which has 3X far more memory and a a lot more powerful challenging drive than my existing pc has.
-The issue: I chatted with a Dell sales rep. & they mentioned that the Vostro would not run Autocad, even with customized upgrades! They want me to buy a Precision laptop that begins off at $ three,000.00!

Are they lieing, just to get far more funds? Does the Vostro run Autocad?

Somebody help, please! I do not have $ three,000.00 to devote on a laptop!

yup, they undoubtedly trying to get you to devote more. vostro or not autocad runs fine. as lengthy its a 32bit operating method, vista or xp. with 2gb of RAM will let you run autocad smoothly. the product sales rep is certainly attempting to reach into your pocket OR he/she just dont know what the heck CAD is and didnt want to amid stupid.
