Inexpensive Microsoft Windows XP Sales: I just lately Purchased a Compaq at a Garage sale (Inexpensive) I get it home and set it up…i find out it has no sound on it at all ( I go to the begin menu under sound and almost everything is Greyed out ) and so i go the start menu and locate out i have a Boot leg copy of window’s xp so i call each Compaq and Microsoft and they say i want a Item Essential and One thing else on the side of the personal computer…..well there is no Item Important and No CD’s and there is absolutely nothing on the laptop or computer other then the model Quantity on the front…..

I go to the two a Greatest Purchase and a Circuit City right here in my state and 1 guy says i have to purchase Window’s XP Property or Pro and an OEM would not perform with out the sticker on the side and one more says nicely you can just purchase an OEM or call compaq and ask for a restore disk for that model…..

I have no clue what to do and i am not exactly Laptop or computer Savvvy Please some people lend me your advice i would truly enjoy
