I would definately go with the dell, if I had to choose. I will not go into the “Mac is better simply because of this”, or the “Windows is much better because of that” shpiel, but primarily based on specs alone the dell is a far better alternative. (Personally, I prefer windows).
Oh, and if I didn’t have to chose, I would develop my very own.

I’d go with the dell. And here are the good reasons:
–The i7 is a quad-core that means four processors vs. the mac’s two processors
–6GB of ram vs. 4GB of ram
–I’d say each of them have decent graphics cards, not the very best although
–Dual layer 16X is the fastest speed and most capacity for a dvd so far which is really very good(better than mine truly)
–On best of all these, the dell comes with more utilities set up
–Also I usually identified that Apple was to vain about its computerrs and didn’t put sufficient thought into pricing or internal specs
Dell is the way to go
