Discount Purchase Of Microsoft Windows 7: Hello, I need a little assist.
Effectively I’m a student. My prof. linked me to this page:

I’m a Mac user and currently set up Parallel Desktop to run windows on it… I am considering of getting Windows 7. Now This Item says Microsoft Windows Pro 7 Upgrade for $ 65 with Student Discount.
My Question is… is that a full version? I’ll get a complete Windows 7 with that upgrade appropriate? Or is this for upgrading your present Windows 7 only? Just want to be clear prior to I acquire it

Actually I currently have Mac MS. 2011….. I am finding windows for several explanation beside MS Office
Plus I have a six month trial version of MS Workplace for Windows from college with my books i bought.

Here’s what I would do in your situation:
I would acquire the full Windows 7 OS, not just the upgrade. That way you know that what you are finding is going to operate for you.
Upgrade installs are iffy. I perform at a personal computer store and we set up windows on computer systems all the time. Occasionally the upgrades will function like they are supposed to, at times you just have to do a full fresh install of windows.
On the other hand, if you know you happen to be going to be using MS Workplace, why not go ahead and get MS Workplace for the Mac OS? I haven’t totally looked into it, but from what I hear it functions just like the Computer version.
