I just ordered a gaming personal computer but for video editing. I ordered it off of ibuypower.com they have been generating custom computer systems for more than 30 years. They are amazing and I got an Incredible custom pc maxed out for $ 1358. Yeah, it’s insane! But I was not certain what I was performing either so I known as them. They helped me go via every single item and they had been super valuable! If you want to switch, I would go with IBUYPOWER but if you want to stick with yours, call them and inquire them, I’m positive they will be truthful and hopefully not rip you off. But from the appears of it, that is a sick computer. You got it searching good, just make certain you have excellent memory and good graphics card. You have 16gbs of memory and a sick graphics card. If your heart’s set on this one, DO IT UP! 16gbs is the ideal memory you can get!

Looks good to me. Personally, I choose AMD graphics and processors, as I believe that Intel processors don’t offer any benefit in terms of gaming overall performance. Also, AMD graphics tend to scale ever so slightly greater in CrossFire compared to nVidias SLI solution. Either way, your Computer will give excellent gaming functionality. I believe that 16GB of RAM is overkill, drop that down to 8GB, also, take the energy supply down to 850-1000W

$ 2400 for that? What a ripoff! You could easily construct an equivalent for two/three that price tag and trim away unnecessary crap.
i7 2600k? Useless in gaming over an i5 2500k, which is $ 100 much less.
SLI on an 1155 board? Not the ideal idea because you are going to either be running every single at 8x PCIe or you happen to be bridging them with an NForce 200 chip, which causes microstutters. Get a a lot more powerful single card. Hell, at that value, you could get a GTX 590 or a Radeon 6990 and get even greater efficiency.
16GB of RAM? What the HELL? What a entirely unnecessary expense! 8GB of RAM is currently way more than adequate for gaming. 16GB is utterly wasted.
1100w power supply? Once again, total overkill. You could go with a single GTX 580 and a 650w power supply or a 6990/590 and a 750w energy supply and do just fine.
This computer is a key waste of money for gaming.
Johnathan, if you feel that Intel does not provide an benefit over AMD in gaming then you really need to have to appear up some benchmarks on Sandy Bridge. AMD gets their butts handed to them.

yes me n most of the ppl will say built ur own comp since its cheaper n can b easily b comparable to a rich comp
since u get more then u want best bang for the buck, well anwayz
the only thing i hate on the list u have is the cpu cooler liquid cooling, if u havent use a liquid cooler before when that things breaks so will ur comp liquid will splash out n damage ur hardware (nothing last forever remember that)
go with air cooling – like the cooler master hyper 212+ , not sure if ur site has that
agreed with 2nd post dude 1000 watts powersupply is overkill, n 16gb ram is too much unless ur doing some video editing then go with it. (4-6 gig ram shoudl suffice ur needs most games only uses 2 gig of grams)
I have no idea what the 1st guy is talking about. This is a gaming computer, not a video editing one.
First off, you can save a bit of money and get the 2500k instead of the 2600k. Both are essentially the same, except the 2600k offers a feature called “hyperthreading” which essentially splits up the 4 cores into 8, giving you about a 20% boost in performance with applications that can actually use all 8 cores.
This is nice for servers, but 95% of games use 2 cores, and 99.9% use no more than 4. You can save money with the 2500k.
16gb of memory is not necessary. NO game uses more than 8gb, and most use lest than 4. the extra 8gb will never be used even if you’re multitasking, so 16gb is waste unless you have a specific app that needs that much.
The hard drives are fine I guess. Personally, I would go with a single 120gb SSD and a single hard drive, but 2 should work fine in Raid 0. Just make sure you back up all your data every once in awhile.
Now for the most important part: the graphics card.
For $ 2500, you should’nt settle for 2 mere GTX 560s. While they will work well, 2 6950s or 6970s will give you much better performance.
And last off, don’t make the mistake many make. A mere 1080p monitor or TV is not worthy of this system, it will never live up to it’s full potential. Get either a high res display, like a 2560×1600 or 2560×1440 monitor, or get 3 1080p monitors for surround gaming. Otherwise, your whole system would be a waste, as a $ 1500 system would work at 1080p just as well.
